Hillary Scott says she was asleep in the back of the bus when a fire started nearby and eventually destroyed everything. Her fast-acting bus driver got everyone off the bus safely, but that's not the reason the Lady Antebellum singer is walking away with a deeper faith in God.

Even though her bed and personal belongings were burnt beyond saving, her bible was not. "The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing," Scott says on Instagram.

"Yall (sic), God's Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours."

The fire — caused by heat from a rear tire — happened on Thursday morning (April 16), just outside of Dallas. Scott, her husband and their tour manager with the only passengers on board. This wasn't the bus she usually travels in.

"Everyone is safe and sound," the singer and mother to Eisele reported. "Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!!"

Lady Antebellum are scheduled to perform at the 2015 ACM Awards on April 19. They're also nominated in the Vocal Group of the Year category.
