Singer-songwriter Holly Williams says the secret to great songwriting is to be patient, and to "be still." The best songs, she tells us, come to her when she's not expecting it, but also when she's not distracting her creative mind with social media or television.

"Be quiet and find moments," Williams says while sharing how the song 'Drinkin'' came to her while she was doing dishes. Her most recent album, 'The Highway,' received widespread critical praise, which should bode well for her when she plays the 2013 Austin City Limits Festival next month.

The daughter of Hank Williams, Jr. also opens up about her guilty pleasure foods (Williams shares recipes at a blog called the Afternoon Off), celebrities that have come through her Nashville boutique and her favorite back to school memories. She also delivered an acoustic rendition of her song 'Drinkin'.'

Look for Williams at ACL Fest on Oct. 4 and 11. Eric Church and Court Yard Hounds are two other Taste of Country artists playing the festival.
