Hunter Hayes has never put a song in the Showdown Hall of Fame, but if his new single 'Invisible' can get past Josh Thompson's latest, he'll gain entry. The powerful ballad has won four straight song battles, setting up this matchup with 'Cold Beer With Your Name on It.'

Hayes' anti-bullying song has sparked a movement, while Thompson's cut just hopes to spark a good time. The debut single from his just announced 'Turn It Up' album (April 1) is a laid-back love song that keeps the spirit of other tracks from this 'Beer on the Table' hitmaker. Thompson may be country music's ultimate blue collar songwriter.

Listen to clips of both Hayes and Thompson’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
