Hunter Hayes vs. Luke Bryan – The Showdown

The votes are in, and while this week's first Showdown isn't a direct representation of ACM viewers' opinions on performances by Hunter Hayes and Little Big Town, the newcomer's win indicates there's more passion for 'I Want Crazy' than the ballad -- and three-day champion -- 'Your Side of the Bed.' Hayes took 55 percent of the vote the last two days, meaning he'll face a new challenger, and a new ACMs performer. 

Luke Bryan also introduced new music to fans on Sunday. His song 'Crash My Party' was almost lost in his busy night, which included hosting and winning the Entertainer of the Year award. Did enough fans notice and fall for the song to overcome Hayes and 'I Want Crazy?' That's what ToC readers will decide over the next two days.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
