It's only a coincidence that Hunter Hayes played Hunter Mountain -- where the 2013 Taste of Country Music Festival officially set up camp -- on Saturday afternoon (June 15), but he owned the crowd as if the rolling green hills had actually been named for him.

As he always does, the 21-year-old rising superstar took the stage ready to rock, and while not everyone in the crowd was there only to see him, Hayes got everyone on their feet.

"I love you!" one excited fan shouted from the front row. "I love you more!" Hayes quickly returned, which got hundreds of young girls giggly with excitement. He kept the energy high with 'Storm Warning' and made fans swoon with 'Wanted' and 'I Want Crazy,' stopping in between to ensure that the New York crowd knew just how truly humbled he was to be there.

Sunshine, great festival food and Hayes' pop-country hits proved to be the perfect mixture for Day 3 of the Festival. Closing out the first-ever event Saturday night is Lady Antebellum.
