Indigo Summer take a wistful look back in their new video for "Something You Miss."

The Nashville-based duo is made up of Hope Nix and Bryan Edwards. The two singer-songwriters met in December of 2010 at a writers night at Music City's Hotel Indigo, both solo artists at the time. They began playing together so often that many people asked if they were a duo, which sparked the idea to team up together.

The duo are gearing up to release their 12-track debut album, and their latest single, "Something You Miss," showcases Nix and Edwards' songwriting and vocal talents. The song was inspired by a breakup Nix went through, and on "Something You Miss" Indigo Summer channel the feeling of missing an ex after a goodbye despite knowing full well that the relationship is not the right fit.

The video for "Something You Miss" brings the song to life as two actors portray a couple's happier times together -- gearing up for a fun road trip, a relaxing day at the lake and a romantic proposal. All the while, shots of Nix and Edwards singing together at an empty bar heighten the confusion and longing the couple in the song still have for each other as they reminisce about the good times with spot-on harmonies.

At one point, the former boyfriend drives by his ex's house, and it looks like the two might reconcile. Does their story have a happy ending? You'll have to watch the video above to find out.
