Nashville is going to take on the island spirit next February, when a few of its stars head to the Mexican island Isla Mujeres for the Island Time Music and Fishing Fest.

The six-day event features a series of intimate, live performances in local venues (including a luxurious private residence), along with a fishing tournament that coincides with the winter migration of sailfish to the local waters.

Kellie PicklerJerrod Niemann, Blackjack Billy, Love & Theft, LoCash and many more will head to paradise to perform at the festival that will support the Little Yellow Schoolhouse, a charity which provides services to the special needs children of Isla Mujeres at no charge. In addition to proceeds from performance ticket sales and the fishing competition, an online memorabilia auction will take place which will support the cause as well.

“These artists, musicians, and songwriters are donating their time for this cause," notes Skip Bishop of Studio 1Bee Entertainment, a frequent Isla Mujeres visitor who lives in Nashville. “And unless they’re family members, music fans will never have access to performers of this caliber like they will have this week.”

More artists for the nearly-week-long celebration will be announced as the festival draws nearer. Bundled tickets for the event range from $199 to $249 per person, and additional pricing for select events is also available.
