Jake Owen's next studio album has a name, a release date and a cover that fans will be familiar with. The "American Country Love Song" singer announced American Love on Facebook Live Thursday afternoon (May 19)

American Love will be Owen's fifth studio album — his first since Days of Gold in 2013. The project will be available in stores and at digital retailers on July 29. The singer held up a vinyl copy of the album, and though it's not clear if he plans to release it commercially on vinyl, his overwhelming enthusiasm for having a record on vinyl leads one to conclude that he'd vote for it.

The new album features 11 songs, including his current Top 20 single. There's also a collaboration with Chris Stapleton. The "Nobody But Me" singer also helped write "If He Ain't Gonna Love You," a song on which he sings backup.

“And it sounds so good,” Owen told Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex. “He sounds unbelievable on it, so I’m so excited.”

Owen walked the hallways of his Sony Music Nashville office during the Facebook Live that revealed his album. The cover is a photo of the star in his Love Bus, the Volkswagen van he bought to drive from Nashville to Florida earlier this year. Along the way he had people he met sign the doors, and those signatures also appear on the album's front cover.
