Jake Owen fans, mark your calendars! The singer has announced that his third studio album, 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night,' will be released via RCA Records on August 30.

"It is kind of ironic that my new album is being released on August 30, two days after I turn 30, and this is my third record," says Owen. "This album is a big step for me and my career, and I can’t wait for people to hear it."

The new collection will include a total of 11 songs, six of which were produced by Joey Moi and Rodney Clawson, and five tracks produced by the famed Tony Brown.

The album's debut single and title track, 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night,' has already become the fastest rising single of Owen's career to date. It currently holds down the No. 17 position on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart and No. 16 on Mediabase/Country Aircheck. 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night' is also No. 8 on the Digital Country Songs chart, after over 44,000 downloads, and up 41 percent from last week's sales.

Tonight (June 16), Owen hits the road with Keith Urban on his Get Closer 2011 World Tour, which gets its start in Biloxi, Miss. The tour runs through the end of August.

"I have always wanted to go out on the road with Keith," notes Owen. "He really inspires me as a songwriter, musician and entertainer. Keith is the real deal and one of the most amazing talents our genre has ever seen."

Last week, Urban and Owen gave fans a sneak peak at what to expect on the tour, when Urban called the young singer up on stage during his set at LP Field during the 2011 CMA Music Festival. The two performed Owen's hit 'Don't Think I Can't Love You.'

"It meant the world to me," Owen says of the experience. "[That] was definitely a career highlight. To have Keith playing electric guitar and singing harmony with me on a song that I wrote was so awesome. Then, when the audience sang the words back to us at the top of their lungs, it was the coolest moment I have experienced in my career so far. It was surreal."
