Jake Owen has been all over the place this week. On Saturday (March 5), the singer kicked off his Love Bus Road Trip, for which he drove his newly-purchased 1966 VW bus from Nashville, Tenn., to Key West, Fla., to spread the love — and his new music — to fans along the way.

"It's been pretty amazing," Owen says in a video message at the end of his trip. "We made it. This is a beautiful country. You guys are beautiful people. Thanks for taking the journey with me, it's been pretty awesome."

Despite a few minor obstacles — like the bus breaking down 10 miles outside of one of his scheduled stops — Owen kept the positivity going throughout his journey, documenting it all through social media.

“Man, this road trip has been a blast and it’s really changed my life,” he says in a press release. “It showed me that when you can make people smile, it’s inspiring. I hope everyone we met along the way felt the joy that I felt. We made this Love Bus Road Trip together. I really appreciate everyone who came out to some of our destinations and everyone traveling with me via social media all the way from Nashville to Key West. For a few days, we made life our playground and we shared moments I’ll never forget. It was awesome!”

The music video for his new single "American Country Love Song" was also filmed during his journey by Jeff Venable. The song became the No. 1 most added single this week at country radio, one week before its official radio add date.

Owen will take the growing hit to the 2016 Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter Mountain, New York in June.
