Jamie Lynn Spears gave her fans a special treat when she released an acoustic version of her latest single, "Sleepover."

As a part of YouTube's Nashville Sessions, Spears released the special tune via a behind-the-scenes video. The 25-year-old singer looks like a seasoned regular in the studio, while sounding like one, too. She hits every note, giving a pleasant and soothing spin on her most recent track.

"Sleepover" is a song from a girl's point of view at the beginning of a relationship, letting a man know that she is not looking for a simple one night stand, but instead a commitment that is free of games.

“I like that taking me out, treating me like a lady / While I’m figuring out, do I wanna be your baby / Give me an old school dinner for two / And you like the Stones, well hey, me too / I ain’t saying you ain’t getting to me / Yeah, and I ain’t saying I ain’t feeling the heat / I ain’t drunk and you ain’t sober / Sure feels good here leaning on your shoulder / But this ain’t no sleepover,” she sings as part of the chorus.

Spears, now married with an 8-year-old daughter, recently opened up about her relatively private life during a TLC special titled When the Lights Go Out. The one-hour special gave insight into her teenage pregnancy and leaving the spotlight, as well as the journey to her debut at the Grand Ole Opry. Though this was a return to the television screen for the young star, she also shared that her focus is on music and there's more of it on the way.
