Hopeful romantics would be hard pressed to find an engagement story as perfect and picturesque as Jana Kramer and Brantley Gilbert's sentimental tale.

In a recent radio interview with WYCD, Kramer shares that her prospective groom popped the question in a place that perfectly symbolizes the relationship between the two rising country stars: the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

“He surprised me so much,” recalls Kramer. “It was actually his birthday when he proposed."

Elaborating on the romantic story, the 'Whiskey' singer spills, "He had blindfolded me — and I thought, ‘Why are you blindfolding me?’ He took me to the Ryman Auditorium. And he was like, ‘We always talk about how if it wasn’t for country music we never would have met. About 30 steps to our right is where Johnny Cash and June met.'"

"And he’s always idolized that love story," Kramer adds.

Gilbert and Kramer's engagement is the most recent step in their whirlwind romance, which includes a new living arrangement for the pair. Kramer has confirmed that she has ditched her former bachelorette pad for a more couple-friendly space in Nashville.

“I actually bought the house, and he is living with me, yes,” the gorgeous actress-singer says. The pair picked out their new residence together, but did not purchase the property jointly.

Kramer avoided giving a specific wedding date, but admits that the two busy singers only "had like two weekends that we were able to do it this year,” leading many to believe that she will be walking down the aisle sometime in 2013.
