Jana Kramer cut short a show in West Palm Beach, Fla. and was taken to the hospital after falling ill on Saturday night (Dec. 1). Her boyfriend, fellow country singer Brantley Gilbert, was also at the WIRK Country Christmas show and was able to swoop in to carry her off of the stage when it became clear she couldn't continue.

Country Chit Chat spoke with WIRK morning show host Tiny, who said Kramer had told the crowd she was ill, but her performance didn't show it. Before going on stage, Kramer tweeted that she had a 101 degree temperature. Earlier in the day, she went deep-sea fishing with Gilbert, even tweeting a photo of a baby shark someone on her boat reeled in. It appears the illness surfaced following her ocean adventure.

"Alright so here's the update! I'm okay. I'm on morphine and lots of liquid and other stuff. #dehydration #flu #etc ! Thanks for the love," she told fans after being admitted and checked out.

Both the concert and trip to the hospital took place the night before the 'Why Ya Wanna' singer's 29th birthday on Sunday (Dec. 2). Gilbert joined his leading lady, sitting by her hospital bed to keep her smiling.

"Being entertained at the hospital by my manager and B.#tryingtomakemesmile #sortaworking," she shared, also revealing that she adoringly refers to Gilbert as "B."

Kramer's illness also caused her to miss Sunday's concert as part of the Alan Jackson tour in Tampa. "I got out of the hospital this morning &still really sick. I will make it up to y'all," the 'Whiskey' songstress tweeted to fans. Her next scheduled date is Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Las Vegas.
