Congratulations to country singer Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin, who got married in Charlottesville, Va. on Friday (May 22).

"We feel extremely blessed to have found each other and are so fortunate to have shared our day with close friends and family," the couple tell Us Weekly. "We look forward to sharing our lives together."

Kramer wore a custom Galia Lahav gown with honey pearls and embroidered trims for the ceremony, which took place in a rustic outdoor setting and featured a lilac color scheme, candles and mason jars, an idea that Kramer found on Pinterest.

"In the beginning I honestly just wanted to go to the courthouse and do this whole Sarah Jessica Parker, Sex and The City end of the movie kind of thing," Kramer jokes. "But Michael really wanted to have a wedding and once we found the venue I was all in ... I just wanted it to be very intimate and beautiful."

Kramer is best-known to many from her role on TV’s One Tree Hill, but country fans know her for her music. She released her self-titled debut album in 2012 and took home the ACM’s New Female Vocalist of the Year in 2013. She recently released "I Got the Boy," the second single from her forthcoming sophomore album. Kramer was previously engaged to Brantley Gilbert, and before that she was briefly married to Michael Gambino in 2004 and actor Johnathon Schaech in 2010.

Caussin played tight end at James Madison University and went on to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins. He is currently a free agent. The couple got engaged on Dec. 2, 2014 — Kramer's 31st birthday.

“It was a beautiful surprise,” Kramer shares. “He was the perfect gentleman. Nervous, on one knee, and surrounded by some of the people that love us the most.”
