Jana Kramer Planning a Lilac Wedding in Fiance’s Hometown

Jana Kramer is getting married, and she's sharing the details. The "I Got the Boy" singer is set to get hitched to football player Michael Caussin sooner than most people were expecting. The flowers, the table settings, who's sitting where ... she says she doesn't care about any of that.

"I don't really care, to be honest with you," Kramer tells Taste of Country Nights host Sam Alex of her wedding, which is set to take place in a few weeks. "As long he's there, I don't."

Kramer pointed to her toes to show her wedding color. They were painted a color she calls "vintage lilac," but she's not expecting his tie to match. Actually, the country singer didn't seem to certain about what Caussin would be wearing. The ceremony is taking place at a vineyard in his Virginia hometown. Pete Wilson, pastor at Crosspoint Church in Nashville, will be their officiant.

The two became engaged on Kramer's 31st birthday last December. Since then she's been sporting an impressive bobble and an ear-to-ear grin as she talks about her man and their future together. He's currently a free agent, and Kramer says if he's not picked up in the next month, he'll likely call it a career. She's a fan of the Detroit Lions, so what if he got signed by the Chicago Bears?

"I Got the Boy" tells the story of a very different kind of love: Kramer's high school sweetie. They dated for nearly four years and have remained friendly. Matthew has since gone on to get married and start a family, and when Kramer told him she would be talking about their relationship while promoting this song, he was excited about it.

"He was like, 'I love it. It's a great song,'" she recalls, defining their relationship as "puppy love." While "I Got the Boy" is a song she didn't write, it's a true story for her.

Says the singer: “Erica (Matthew's wife) got something that I’ll never have, but I got the innocent, sweet Matthew too."
