22-year-old country singer Janelle Arthur progressed to the next round during Hollywood Week on 'American Idol' Wednesday night (Feb 13), performing the Hank Williams classic 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry' to universal praise from the judges.

Arthur first impressed the judges at her audition in Charlotte, singing Keith Urban's 'Where the Blacktop Ends.' Nicki Minaj told her, ”I think you are really, really special, and you already seem like a star."

This is Arthur's third time on 'American Idol.' She made it to Hollywood Week in 2010, and last year she made it to the Las Vegas rounds before being cut. On Wednesday night she performed one of country's most timeless songs in a strong, polished rendition that demonstrated the power of her voice while still staying true to the simplicity of the music, easily winning her way to the group rounds.

Arthur has been rumored to be one of the singers who makes it through to the Top 40 after this year's audition rounds.
