In the spirit of April Fools' Day, Jaron Lowenstein of Jaron and the Long Road to Love tried to pull a fast one on his Facebook and Twitter fans by convincing them he was going to be a part of an unexpected set of dates on the road: Charlie Sheen's Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour.

"This is so awesome!! I've been added to Charlie Sheen's "Violent Torpedo of Truth" starting April 16th!" Lowenstein posted on his band's Facebook page Friday morning, including a link to an article about Sheen's tour. "Here are a list of the dates for the rest of the month! See you out there!!"

Within seconds, a fan called the singer out with an "April Fools" comment -- but the 'Pray For You' singer had a clever response to his initial post. "It sure beats the Rebecca Black tour that CAA offered me," Lowenstein quipped.

Many surprised/confused comments followed, but we're pretty certain the Long Road to Love won't be heading out with Sheen or Black any time soon.

Jaron and the Long Road to Love's new single, 'It's a Good Thing,' is slated to hit radio later this month. We echo the band's Facebook fans, who believe a tour with the crazed actor or young YouTube sensation would not be a good thing for Lowenstein's career. You can't fool us!
