After high school, Aldean had a chance to pursue his dream of playing big-league baseball, but he said "No, thanks." "I just couldn't see going to school for four more years. It was hard enough to get out of high school. I went to school basically because I had to and because I wanted to play baseball. That was about it," he says. By that time, Aldean had already been playing bars and clubs for over three years, and getting paid for it. He's still a big fan of the game, though, specifically the Atlanta Braves.
