Jason Aldean Returning Home for Concert for the Kids

Jason Aldean will return to his hometown of Macon, Ga., on August 11 for the second-annual Concert for the Kids.

The one-night-only event, held at Macon Coliseum, is a benefit for the children’s hospital, Navicent Health, located in central Georgia. The two-time reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year kicked off the event in 2016 with an intimate stripped-down performance that raised over $500,000. Because of the positive response, Aldean decided to expand to the Macon Coliseum for an amplified show in 2017.

“Supporting these kids in Macon and their families is something that I’m really proud to be a part of,” he says. “We’re looking forward to getting back to town, kicking things up a couple notches and hopefully raise a huge amount of money for the hospital so that they can continue to grow and serve my hometown community."

Tickets for the event go on sale to the public on June 23 at 10AM ET on jasonaldean.com, ticketmaster.com and the venue box office during normal business hours.

Aldean — who has over 30 dates remaining on his They Don't Know Tour — has sold more than 15 million albums throughout his career and is often motivated to give back.
