Taste of Country’s Jason Aldean Contest Winner Announced

Carrie Town of Hudson, Mich. is a happy woman. She was chosen as the winner of our Jason Aldean contest that ran in the month of August, meaning next month she’ll be headed to Los Angeles. Town and her guest will be given airfare, three nights in a hotel, concert tickets and a chance to meet Aldean before his My Kinda Party Tour show at the Gibson Ampitheatre on October 27.

Town tells Taste of Country she’s a big Aldean fan and respects his background and his music. She does her best to see the ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ singer every time he’s in town. “[I] have been to numerous concerts but to actually meet him would be the ultimate treat!” she says.

She goes on to describe how being the lucky one chosen to meet Aldean was a little overwhelming: “Disbelief quickly followed by absolute joy!” Congratulations, Carrie. We can’t promise he’ll sing your favorite song, ‘Amarillo Sky,’ but maybe you’ll have a chance to plead your case before the show. Just don’t do anything we wouldn’t do.
