First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes (more) babies for Jason Aldean. The singer says he and new wife Brittany Kerr definitely have a baby carriage in their future, and he doesn't want to wait too long to make it a reality.

Recently, the 38-year-old singer sat down with Entertainment Tonight to dish about the couple's upcoming family plans, and it looks like kids of their own will be coming sooner than later, at least while Aldean is still youthful enough to rock all around those big stages.

“She’s a lot younger than I am," Aldean says of his wife, "so I gotta make this happen quick. I don’t want to be the old dad!"

"It’s something we definitely want, at least one kid and possibly two, we’ll see," he reveals. "It’s something we’ve talked about a lot. Hopefully in the next couple years.”

In the interview, the "Tonight Looks Good on You" singer also shared that Kerr travels on the road with him, and he loves the time he gets to spend with her and his two young daughters from his previous marriage.

"My daughters come over, and having them over there, all in the same house, that's my favorite time," he admits.

The couple will celebrate their one-year marriage anniversary this March, but there's no concrete news of a baby quite yet.

Aldean kicked off his We Were Here Tour earlier this January with openers Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. The trek will take them all across the country and down to Australia before it wraps in early May.
