Original 'American Idol' Kelly Clarkson is the girl who started it all, as she was crowned the first and is often considered the best. Her career has seen her attempt many genres, and she has dipped her toes into the country pool with 'Don't You Wanna Stay,' her duet with country star Jason Aldean. The duo performed the song live on tonight's episode of 'Idol.'

They performed the song together at the CMAs in November of last year, and tonight's rendition was packed just as powerful of a punch. Aldean's eyes were concealed by his 10-gallon hat, but there was no mistaking his beautiful voice, which is a perfect match for Clarkson's unmistakable soar. While Aldean has said that an unexpected friendship grew out of working with Clarkson on the song, you might think they were an actual couple -- that's how believable they are when they engage each other through song.

'Don't You Wanna Stay' has achieved platinum status, selling over a million copies. Maybe the song's runaway success will cause them to work together again on another duet. Why not, right?
