Only 11 weeks after its release, Jason Aldean's fourth studio album, 'My Kinda Party,' has been certified platinum for sales of one million copies! The album becomes Aldean's third career platinum album and brings his album sales to five million total sold throughout his five-year career in country music.

"I just can't say enough about country music fans and the amount of loyalty they have for their favorite artists," says Aldean. "To think that a million people already bought this record is hard for me to get my head around. And five million since I started?  No way!  I am so grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to play music every night."

'My Kinda Party' made an impressive debut when it hit stores in November, selling over 193,000 units in its first week. The feat earned Aldean the biggest first week debut by a male vocalist in over three years.

The album’s title track was released as the first single and was certified gold for digital downloads. It proceeded to top the country singles chart. His second single from 'My Kinda Party' is the Kelly Clarkson duet 'Don't You Wanna Stay,' and is currently in the Top 15.

Aldean hits the road this week for his My Kinda Party Tour, featuring Eric Church and the JaneDear Girls. The tour hits 30 cities and runs through May. Click here to see his My Kinda Party Tour dates.
