Jason Aldean's 2016 Concert for the Cure, which benefits the Susan G. Komen Foundation, took place Tuesday evening (Oct. 25) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. In partnership with the Opry Goes Pink, Aldean's 11th annual event brought the grand total of money raised for the fight against breast cancer to over $3.3 million.

“It was a pretty full-circle moment for me to be able to bring this show back to Nashville where it got started as we go over the three million dollar mark,” Aldean says in a press release. “I could see a lot of family and friends out in the audience this year, which is a big reminder that we still have to keep fighting this disease."

Aldean performed during the benefit concert and assisted in switching the Opry's barn backdrop to pink for the two shows at the Grand Ole Opry. For his continuous support in the fight against breast cancer, Susan G. Komen Foundation has named Aldean one of their More Than Pink Heroes.

"Through the generosity of Jason Aldean and his devoted fans, we have the opportunity to increase our support for critical breast cancer research along with education, screening and treatment programs for millions of women, men and families in Nashville and all over the world," says Dr. Judy Salerno, President & CEO of Susan G. Komen, in a press release. "His commitment to this cause has been unwavering and through his support, we’re one step closer to our vision of a world without breast cancer."
