Jason Aldean is revving up for the premiere of his music video for 'Take a Little Ride' by offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at the clip, which will make its official debut on Friday.

“It's always really cool to be at the front of a new project and to see the music start coming to life," Aldean says. "Shaun [Silva] was really great to work with, and he used some editing techniques I’ve never seen before in a music video that really give the song an extra shot of energy."

Directed by Shaun Silva and shot in Nashville last month, the video for 'Take a Little Ride' stays true to Aldean's brand of country music, exemplifying the superstar's trademark sound and good ol' boy country charm. The backstage snippet takes fans to the set, but behind the cameras, giving a rare peek at what it's really like to shoot a music video -- dirt, dancing, and fancy schmancy lighting equipment included. Oh, and the 'Take a Little Ride' hitmaker, looking his best.

The tune has already cracked the Top 15 on Billboard's Country Singles chart after only three weeks, and was the first track by a male country artist to reach No. 1 on the iTunes all-genre digital downloads chart.

Fans hoping to hear Aldean's new tune performed live may be hard-pressed to find tickets to his wildly successful 2012 My Kinda Party Tour. The superstar has sold out every date so far this year, including his first as a stadium headliner.

The new video will premiere on CMT on August 10, and will kick off 'Jason Aldean Weekend' on the network. 'Take a Little Ride' is the first radio offering from Aldean's upcoming new album, which is rumored to be called 'Night Train' and expected Oct. 16 via Broken Bow Records.
