Jason Aldean Woos CMT Awards Audience With ‘Tonight Looks Good on You’

Jason Aldean brought his laid-back, sexy country-rock tune "Tonight Looks Good on You" to the 2015 CMT Awards stage and left fans swooning.

The dark stage was illuminated by a scrolling neon script reading the song’s title, under which Aldean delivered a serious performance, standing simply at the mic stand and serenading the crowd with intensity from beneath his signature cowboy hat. The song is the third single from Aldean's sixth studio album, Old Boots, New Dirt.

It pairs nicely with a sexy music video, in which a couple aim to reunite for some romancing at the end of a long workday and Aldean returns to his old role of a blue collar worker.

“It wasn’t that long ago that I was a Pepsi delivery guy, racing the clock, hoping to get home before sundown," the singer explains, "So it was easy to put myself back in those shoes and kinda cheer for the guy who works his a– off to get home to his girl.”

Aldean is nominated for two 2015 CMT Music Awards: Video of the Year and Male Video of the Year for his hit "Burnin’ It Down."
