It's been a good month for Texas country Red Dirt band Jason Boland and the Stragglers. The group is enjoying a third week at No. 1 on the Texas music charts with their hit single, 'Mary Ellen's Greenhouse,' but they shouldn't get too proud, because Brandon Rhyder's latest isn't far behind.

Rhyder is holding strong to his No. 2 spot with 'In the Country,' while other artists flit and flutter from spot to spot. In the No. 3 position this week is Robert Earl Keen's 'I Gotta Go,' which is up from No. 5 just last week. Reckless Kelly and Max Stalling round out the Top 5. That's sad news for the Josh Abbott Band, who slid down to No. 6 this week, but given the success of their state-loving song 'My Texas,' thus far, we don't think they'll slip off the charts completely any time soon.

Meanwhile, Kevin Fowler's hoppin' new one, 'That Girl,' is up to No. 8 this week, followed by Eli Young Band's 'Crazy Girl' (still!) and Rosehill, who are new to the Top 10 this week in late October with 'Dream It All Over Again.'

Check back next week to see whether or not the Stragglers will live up to their name or keep their top position!
