Jason Boland Still Leads Texas Music Chart, Kevin Fowler Moves Up

Jason Boland and the Stragglers are still No. 1 in Texas and have shown no signs of slipping since reaching the top slot on the Texas music chart over a month ago. However, they'd better hold on tight -- Kevin Fowler's latest single, 'That Girl,' is slowly creeping up, jumping to No. 3 this week from the edge of the Top 5 just last week.

It wouldn't be a huge surprise to anyone if Fowler were to sweep in and grab No. 1, given that his last single, 'Hell Yeah, I Like Beer,' rode the chart-topping position for two months straight. By this time next week, 'That Girl' could be paving a similar path.

Brandon Rhyder and Robert Earl Keen are also in the Top 5, while Reckless Kelly, Aaron Watson, Rosehill and Kyle Park round out the Big 10, along with Cody Canada and the Departed's 'Skyline Radio' at No. 10, up from No. 15.
