Jennifer Nettles stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman' on Tuesday night (Jan. 14) to perform the song 'Falling' from her just released solo album, 'That Girl.' But the Sugarland singer didn't just perform. She showed off a sexy, modern new look that without a doubt turned heads.

The singer was incredibly leggy, flaunting her gams in a semi-sheer, black, belted shorts ensemble -- enough to give Carrie Underwood a run for her money! She also rocked a shaggy 'do, complete with messy bangs -- which are incredibly "in" right now -- and loose, behead waves.

Nettles was high fashion form in a Givenchy shirt, Pucci shorts and Saint Laurent shoes. But even while donning such luxe labels, she was still the same, down-to-earth country girl. The singer's son Magnus just turned one, and clearly, motherhood agrees with her.

Her 'Falling' performance was powerful and emotive, with Nettles engaging her band, clapping, pointing to the sky and being her generally expressive self.

After the song, the host asked if he could take over for Nettles as her head of security. Who can blame him?
