Jennifer Nettles has shared a 90-second snippet of her first-ever solo single 'That Girl' from her upcoming album. It's only a minute-and-a-half, but it's quite a healthy taste of the track, which is powered by a flamenco guitar sound, handclaps, a Southwestern flavor and Nettles' gorgeous voice.

She doesn't wanna be that girl with your guy, or so she sings, telling what appears to be a rich and complicated romantic story in the lyrics.

Listen to the sample of 'That Girl' here.

Nettles, one-half of Sugarland, welcomed her first child, son Magnus, at the end of last year. He's quite a handsome little fella.

She then went to work on her first solo album, produced by Rick Rubin, who actually had his hands full with country acts this year, as he initially worked with the Band Perry on 'Pioneer' but that project didn't fully work out as planned.

While it's under two minutes of music, it sounds like Nettles is trying some new sonic things as a solo artist. We're left anxious to hear the rest of 'That Girl.'
