Jerrod Niemann fans get ready -- you will soon be able to hear your first notes of the singer-songwriter's next single, titled 'Shinin' On Me,' when he hosts his second StageIt performance on Monday (Feb. 27).

The new tune is one that Niemann co-wrote with Lee Brice, Rob Hatch and Lance Miller while out on tour with Brad Paisley last summer. The song will be the first single from Niemann's sophomore album, slated for release later this year.

Some of Niemann's fans who have caught him out on the road in the recent weeks opening for Miranda Lambert may have heard the song already, but for a majority of his fan base, they can hear 'Shinin' On Me' -- as well as a handful of other new songs that will be found on the soon-to-be-released album -- next week for the very first time.

"I’ve been playing some new songs out with Miranda, but this will definitely be the first time we’ll play a couple of new songs that nobody’s heard," Niemann tells Taste of Country. "The StageIt [shows are] always fun because you really don’t know what to expect yourself. That’s what’s great … there are no rules about it. Last time we did it, we just did a little tour around the studio and explained some of the stuff we were doing. This time I think we’re going to perform the single and also explain how it was written and some of the details behind that … maybe break out some more of the new music. We might even have some surprises."

Niemann's StageIt performance is set to broadcast live at 8:35PM ET on Monday, Feb. 27. Click here to reserve your spot to view the show. 'Shinin' On Me' will hit country radio in April with a music video to follow.
