Jewel and Ty Murray Expecting Baby This Week

Jewel and her husband, Ty Murray, must be bursting with excitement this week, since the they're expecting their first child any day now. The couple has been prepping for their baby's arrival, which will be a country singin', rodeo lovin' little boy.

On May 22, Jewel had a baby shower at her home in Stephenville, Texas. It was sponsored by Belly Bandit, and designer Jayneoni Moore was in charge of styling the singer's shower. A friend of Jewel's spoke about the baby shower, telling OK! Magazine, "The theme was ‘little cowboy’ because Ty is a cowboy. Jewel’s favorite gifts came from Orbit Baby, Happy Heinys and diapees & wipees."

Even though she is very pregnant, Jewel hasn't slowed down when it comes to helping other moms-to-be out. According to Mom Trends, the songwriter and poet recently teamed up with Bravado! Designs to donate 2,600 nursing bras and tank tops to Baby Buggy, which is a non-profit organization that assists needy families by giving their newborns and children life essentials, from clothing to education.

"This is an un-paralleled opportunity and honor to play such a meaningful role in the lives of other new mothers," Jewel said of the philanthropic initiative. "Bravado! Designs and Baby Buggy have given me the tools to make a real difference in the lives of other new mothers. Through this affiliation, I am able to provide quality products and necessary services to support at-risk mothers who struggle to provide the best possible future for their babies."
