It's been a few years since Jo Dee Messina released a studio album (her last, 'Delicious Surprise,' came out in 2005), but she isn't waiting quite as long to deliver her babies. The 41-year-old 'I'm Alright' hitmaker announced on Thursday via Twitter that she is expecting her second child.

"Our family is very excited. In a few months, Chris, Noah and I will be welcoming BABY #2 :-) !!!" Messina tweeted, without giving away a potential name or delivery date. The singer married Chris Deffenbaugh, a businessman, in 2007. Messina's new arrival -- whenever he or she makes an appearance -- will join their son, Noah Roger, who turns 3 in January.

Since her country debut in 1996, Messina has struck No. 1 on the Billboard country music charts nine times, which helped her obtain three gold and two platinum albums in her career. Despite her current MIA status, the 'Bye Bye' singer is still a household name, selling more than five million albums across the globe -- including her second album, 'I'm Alright,' which sold a million in America alone and lent five Top 10 tracks.
