Jo Dee Messina is back on TV this weekend, as the singer (and mother of a newborn son) returns to 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta,' which is one of the most popular installments of the Bravo franchise. On Sunday, March 18, Messina will once again partner with R&B singer/songwriter and show star Kandi Burruss.

The 'Bye Bye' singer appeared on the show earlier in the season, as she embarked on a writing session with Burruss. Sure, they seem like an unlikely duo, since Messina is a tried and true country singer while Burruss earned a Grammy for co-writing TLC's monster hit 'No Scrubs.' Both artists enjoyed their biggest chart-topping successes in the late 1990s. However, opposites attract in all facets of life, and this is one of those cases.

In this episode, Messina and Burruss meet up in Nashville to record two songs, 'I Won't Give Up on You' and 'Money Don't Grow on Trees.' We see Messina singing in the studio, to which Burruss responds, "Boom, that's a hit." The ladies talk about performing the song live, to an intimate crowd, which makes the normally confident Kandi quite nervous.

The show is known for high drama, but luckily for Messina, she's not embroiled in any of it and is part of a creative storyline for one of the stars aka "wives." At least that's how it seems in the preview footage below.

Tune in tomorrow at 9 PM ET to find out what happens.
