Joe Nichols has one of the smoothest voices in country music history, and he showed it off brilliantly in this hit from 2003. 'Brokenheartsville' earns its place on the Top 100 Country songs list because of Nichols' vocal performance and chart success, but also for the vivid imagery the songwriters use to tell the story of losing your woman to another man.

"I think the devil drives a Coupe de Ville / I watched him drive away over the hill," he sings to begin an all-time great chorus. The song spent a week at No. 1 and was amongst the year's most played in 2003.
