In the spirit of celebrating Joey + Rory’s first Grammy nomination for "If I Needed You," the Opry has released a video of the duo performing the song on the famed Grand Ole Opry stage on Aug. 9, 2013. Joined by Rory's daughter Heidi, the three harmonize during the moving ballad.

For the performance, Joey Feek appears in a white floor-length dress accompanied by her husband Rory, who is wearing his signature blue overalls with a guitar in hand, standing beside her. While Joey takes the lead on vocals, Rory accompanies on harmonies on the first chorus. Throughout their performance, the two look at each other lovingly with a smile as they stand on the famed circle together. Meanwhile, daughter Heidi joins the couple halfway through the song as the camera pans to their slide guitar player accompanying the band.

Joey + Rory were nominated at the 2016 Grammys for Best Country Duo/Group Performance category with their song “If I Needed You.” Rory Feek shared the good news, as well as a sweet note, with fans on Facebook once the couple learned the news in December.

… Woke my bride up this morning with a baby in my arms and the news that our version of ‘If I Needed You’ was nominated for a Grammy. As her excitement and tears flowed into mine. She said, ‘how can that be?’

….the song received no radio airplay … no press … no critical acclaim … and the only music video we made for it was to celebrate the day our little Indiana was born.

God is so good.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Joey and Rory Feek have been open about Joey's battle with Stage 4 cancer. Rory has shared the highs and lows of their difficult journey through his blog, This Life I Live.
