Joey and Rory's new album of Christmas songs includes four written or co-written by the country couple, including 'Remember Me,' a song that serves as reminder of the reason for the season.

There's no lack of sincerity as the the Feeks sing on this song from 'A Farmhouse Christmas.' Rory Feek takes lead, with his wife supplying a more than capable backup. There are a series of two-line holiday tasks, followed by "remember me" to open the song.

"And when you're setting out those cookies / For Santa Claus to eat / Remember me," the couple sings. Each chorus is a unique reminder of the sacrifice Jesus made.

"'Cause I walked from town to town without / A place to lay my head / I even fed 5,000 with just a loaf of bread / And I helped a lady walk again / I made the blind man see / Remember me," they sing the second time through.

The acoustic instrumentation is perfect for this humble song from Rory's heart. The two hold nothing back her,e and it pays off with a song that is fit to pull up its own chair at the grownup table this Christmas.
