Cute Kids Singing Country Songs – Johnny Cash, ‘Folsom Prison Blues’

Subscribe to Taste of Country on

This video is so adorable it hurts. A young boy wearing the Union Jack logo of the rock band the Who sings Johnny Cash‘s hit ‘Folsom Prison Blues.’ He’s good, but his innocence isn’t lost in the skill of his performance. Never have the words “I shot a man in Reno / Just to watch him die” elicited such a loud “Awwww …”

Wesley was just five-years-old at the time this video was filmed at a coffee shop in Seattle, Wash. Since 2009, he’s become a minor YouTube sensation, with his ‘The Wesley TV Show’ and more covers of songs like Lady Gaga‘s ‘Paparazzi‘ popping up online. We expect big things from this kid by the time he’s a teenager. Perhaps we have the next Brad Paisley on our hands?
