During his active years Johnny Cash appeared in many television commercials, endorsing gasoline, trains, fast food restaurants and soda. But there was a type of product the Man in Black wouldn't sign up for. Do you know what it was and why?

Despite being known as something of a wild man at different points in his life, Cash refused to take money from tobacco and alcohol companies.

His struggles with addiction led to him going to great lengths to help people in similar situations, so putting his stamp on booze -- Absolut Vodka once offered him big money, according to WGNA-FM in Albany, N.Y. -- would have been insincere at best.
