Thursday was a big day for the Josh Abbott Band! The group premiered their brand new single, "Amnesia," announced their forthcoming album Front Row Seat and played a sold-out show at Nashville's iconic Exit/In. What a day!

If you haven't experienced a JAB concert yet,  you're certainly missing out. The Texas country band bring energy from start to finish and the energy from their fans is unbeatable, which is in part due to their live shows. The group took the Exit/In stage around 10PM to the Imagine Dragons song, "Radioactive." The men walked on stage, waving at the crowd for a no-frills entrance that proves the Josh Abbott Band are as down to earth as it gets.

After getting their instruments on, the group started off with one of their many fan favorites, "All of a Sudden." The crowd's reaction was instant and everyone quickly began singing along, which brought a smile to Abbott's face. "It's gonna be a good night," the singer said as the song ended.

"We're gonna play some old s--t. We're gonna play some new s--t," Abbott told the crowd, and that's just what they did.

Their new songs included the single that just dropped, "Amnesia," which brought the crowd's noise down a notch as everyone listened to the new words. It wasn't just Abbott's vocals and lyrics that shone through during the show, though. He also gave time for each of his insanely talented band members to play their instruments front and center for the crowd, introducing everyone to the audience. The banjo and fiddle got just as much attention as the guitar and bass, with people cheering loudly as both instruments had solos.

The JAB also covered Garth Brooks' "Callin' Baton Rouge" and Hal Ketchum's "Small Town Saturday Night," which every country lover in the crowd sang along to (a couple could even be seen line dancing close to the bar). Abbott and company never stopped playing, sometimes not even breaking in between songs. It was electric energy from start to finish and a great addition to their big Thursday news!
