Singer Josh Kelley and actor Katherine Heigl are expecting a baby boy, the couple have confirmed to People.

Heigl, 37, and 34-year-old Kelley are already parents to two children. They adopted their daughter Naleigh, now 7, from South Korea in September 2009. They adopted a second daughter, Adelaide, in 2012. She is 4 years old.

The couple revealed to People that their third child — the first biological — is due in January and is a boy.

“The Kelley clan is thrilled to announce that we are expecting a third addition to our family,” the couple say in a prepared statement. “Naleigh and Adelaide could not be more excited to welcome their new sibling into the fold and Josh and I are overflowing with joy and gratitude.”

“This is an incredibly exciting time for us filled with hope, anticipation, and hormones. Well, only I’m filled with hormones, but everyone in the family gets to enjoy them,” Heigl adds. “We couldn’t be more excited to be able to finally share this news with our fans and are looking forward to continuing to share the journey with you all.”

Kelley first made his name as a pop singer, but in 2010 he followed his younger brother, Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley, into country with the release of his debut country single, "Georgia Clay." His most recent album, New Lane Road, is an immensely personal project that draws deeply on themes inspired by his family. Heigl directed the video for his recent single, "It's Your Move." She is well-known for her work on Grey's Anatomy.
