'Georgia Clay' singer Josh Kelley can now add another talent to his resume -- sitcom theme-song writer. Kelley co-wrote the theme song, 'I See Love,' with blues singer Keb' Mo', who sings the song for the popular new television show, 'Mike & Molly.'

About six months ago, Mo' called Kelley saying the creators of 'Mike & Molly' wanted to use the song after they heard him sing it in concert. Kelley says they wrote 'I See Love' back in 2004 and Mo’ ended up putting it on his album then. The best part is that Kelley is also a big fan of the show, and now he gets to hear his song every time he watches it.

Kelley says the thing that is so funny is that people never pick the songs he, at the time, thinks could work for television or film. Kelley says, "The [songs] that I try to write for film and TV never get picked because I think it comes down to the cliché of trying too hard."

The country star may even add a little twang to 'I See Love' for his next album. "The lyrics tell a story and I think they are country lyrics," Kelley says. "I definitely think it can be a country song for sure."

Kelley's music has been on other TV shows too, including 'Smallville,' 'What About Brian,' 'Brothers and Sisters,' and 'The Hills.' The singer has also had tunes in the films 'The Prince and Me,' and 'Sweet Home Alabama.' Kelley says, "A fulfilling part of my life is being able to write songs for film and television and also write songs for other artists."

His entrance into country music came after his brother, Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum, gave him the nudge. New guy Kelley says, "I feel like I’m still at the bottom of the ladder, but climbing up steady-eddy for sure right now. I’ve got a long way to go, but I love the journey." Kelley's debut country album, 'Georgia Clay,' will be released on March 22.
