Josh Turner's family has grown in the last few months as his third son, Marion Crawford Turner, was born on Dec. 13, 2010. He joins siblings 4-year-old Hampton and nearly 2-year-old Colby in the latest issue of Country Weekly.

Marion's name comes from a General in the Revolutionary War who has always been one of Turner's heroes. Naming him after the military man was his wife Jennifer's idea.

Turner is a busy man with his music career these days, but he admits that being a dad is the best. He tells the magazine, "I don't think there's ever been an experience in my life like the moment where my three children were born." Concerning the birth of his third son, the country star adds, "When we got into the delivery room and it actually started to happen, it was just as exciting as the first two. That part of it never gets old."

A favorite pastime for Turner and his young sons is reading 'Big Red Barn' by Margaret Wise Brown and Dr. Suess' 'Fox in Socks.' Of course, being a parent is a lot of work -- Turner says he fights the urge to fall asleep with them when he's reading.

As his family grows larger, there are strict rules at the Turner homestead: "No standing or jumping on furniture, no throwing, no lying or hitting, biting or scratching and that kind of stuff."

Now that the Turners have three boys, will they keep trying for a girl? The country star sighs and says, "We don't know, we just take it one day at a time. We'd love to have a girl if the good Lord decides to give us one, but we'll be content regardless of what happens."

The 'Long Black Train' singer is teaching his sons great life lessons. "I always tell [my sons] to make a decision and stick with it. Always tell the truth and always try to follow your heart," Turner, who always wanted children but he never thought he'd have a family while on the road, reveals. "It's something I wasn't prepared for, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world."
