The latest Showdown is shaping up as a battle between two good old country boys. Josh Turner has scored another big victory with his new single, "Hometown Girl," and he'll face a new challenge from Craig Morgan.

Turner isn't going pop or bending to fit with the times with "Hometown Girl." He's always been one of the most solidly traditional country singers in the genre, and his longtime fans can rest assured that "Hometown Girl" finds Turner giving them exactly what he knows they want.

Morgan has turned increasingly toward more melodic, somewhat more contemporary fare in recent years, though he's hardly challenging Sam Hunt to be the edgiest artist in the genre. Instead, he's giving fans another strong, impassioned vocal performance with his new single, "I'll Be Home Soon," which is the lead single to an upcoming album titled A Whole Lot More to Me. The song's lyrics tell a story we can all relate to. Two classic voices, two great songs -- but only one can move on to another Showdown round.

Listen to clips of both Turner and Morgan’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
