Josh Turner Goes Off the Grid for Simple, Sweet ‘Lay Low’ Video

Josh Turner makes getting back to the basics look downright sexy in his 'Lay Low' video.

What could be better than getting away with your sweetheart for the weekend? Getting away to a remote cabin, beautiful lake and crackling campfire, of course! The video for Turner's lead single off his forthcoming album features all this and more as the country crooner sings about retreating from everyday life (and even cell service!) to relax and, of course, lay low.

'Lay Low' is about returning to the simple pleasures of life, and the music video, directed by Trey Fanjoy, is just that. Strolling through sun-drenched canopies of fall leaves, Turner sings with his signature baritone voice while two lovers take a weekend getaway. They canoe across pristine waters of an isolated lake, cuddle by the campfire and even get caught in a summer rainstorm. It's the perfect setting for a romantic weekend and some good, old-fashioned peace and quiet.
