Joshua Scott Jones is all set to release his debut solo album on June 3, and he's giving fans a peek at the track listing! Jones is best known for his role in the popular country duo, Steel Magnolia, who announced back in March that they would be working on solo projects in 2014.

Jones's new record is called 'The Healing,' a title that perfectly sums up the past few years for the singer, which included a stint in rehab, a broken engagement to his Steel Magnolia partner Meghan Linsey, and the loss of their record deal. According to an official press release from Jones, 'The Healing' will expose the "raw emotions" that Jones experienced through his personal struggles and time of healing over the past year.

"This has been a long time coming for me," Jones says. "I feel like it's really a chance for my voice to be heard."

In anticipation of his debut record, Jones talked with People Magazine about the cathartic experience of creating and releasing 'The Healing.' One track on the album, called 'Just How a Heart Breaks,' was even written on the piano at the rehab clinic in Nashville where Jones spent 30 days. The album's title track is a powerful and raw look at his journey back to health and happiness.

"I feel like at this point in my life I don't want to be anything but candid." Says the honest star. This record certainly reflects my headspace over the last few years and tells the story of what I've gone through ... although I've been near the top before in my career, I'm looking forward to experiencing it all again; this time clean, clear and healthy."
