This year's 4th of July is going to be a booming celebration! Tim McGraw will partner up with Mariah Carey to headline the 2013 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. The fireworks are sure to be a big crowd-pleaser, but it never hurts to throw in a couple of A-list artists to ensure that the event is a success.

The 37th annual fireworks spectacular is the nation's largest patriotic pyrotechnic display. It boasts over 40,000 fireworks which are lit over the Hudson River, according to USA Today. This year's show will also feature a first-ever, one-of-a-kind collaboration with Usher, an eight-time Grammy winner. The 'U Remind Me' singer is curating the overall design of the show, which is appropriately entitled, "It Begins With a Spark." Nick Cannon of NBC's 'America's Got Talent' will host the show.

McGraw is currently on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour and is expected to release live tracks from the tour later this summer. Perhaps he should ask fellow country star Keith Urban for tips on working with Carey, as the New Zealand-born singer was a fellow 'American Idol' judge with her, and often seemed to have his hands full with the feisty vocal powerhouse.

Last year, Kenny Chesney headlined this special celebration, celebrating the birth of our nation along with Katy Perry.

The 2013 event will air from 8PM-10PM ET on NBC on July 4, with a special encore presentation of the second hour at 10PM.
