Justin Moore is getting ready to wrap up his new album and took some time during the ACM Awards recently to tell Taste of Country about a collaboration with Brantley Gilbert that sounds like it will be a winner — and right up Moore's alley.

"I found a song called ‘More Middle Fingers,'" he reveals with a laugh, "And I thought, well, this is my opportunity to get Brantley to pay me back."

Moore appeared on Gilbert's Just as I Am album in "Small Town Throwdown," but has been on a bit of a hiatus for his own music. Now, he’s ready to get it back out there.

“We’re excited about it, and we took a lot of time off in between albums. Hopefully the music will reflect it,” he shares. The artist adds that his album should be finished in about two weeks and he’s hoping to get it to the fans in early September.

In addition to the song with Gilbert, Moore says the record will include one more collaboration, but he didn't spill the details. No news yet on what the next single might be, either, but we may get to hear "More Middle Fingers" on the radio at some point.

“It’s really not as brash as maybe it suggests,” he insists regarding whether or not it would be released as a single. “But it’d be fun."

Moore released a video for his latest single “You Look Like I Need a Drink” in February, showing himself in full Old West garb and a setting to match. As a fan of Westerns, Moore said it may be his favorite video he’s ever shot.

He and Gilbert are headed out on the road this summer for the Take It Outside Tour (but don’t expect him to be doing any push-ups on the tour bus).
