Justin Moore made quick work of JB and the Moonshine Band on Thursday night. Fan support allowed his new song ''Til My Last Day' to topple the Texas quartet with a big push coming during the Taste of Country Nights radio show. Moore's followers are united in saying the thought-provoking lyric is amongst the best he's released to radio.

Next up: Heidi Newfield. The pint-sized country singer packs gigantic emotion into her new breakup ballad 'Why'd You Have to Be So Good.' It's been a few years since fans of the longtime 'Trick Pony' singer have had new solo music from Newfield. This song hasn't disappointed. However, if Moore's fans step up like they did on Thursday, she'll need a big effort from her faithful to become the new champion.

Listen to clips of both Moore's and Newfield's songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour online, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. Hear the full versions of the songs tonight after 10PM on Taste of Country Nights, and vote again by calling (888) 678-9995. You can listen to the show online through any of the 33 radio stations that carry it. Voting will end tonight at 10:40PM CT.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour. If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
