The 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards will air live on Sunday night (April 7) from Las Vegas. The annual awards show features a lineup that's a veritable Who's Who of contemporary country, but this year there's going to be one notable absence: Justin Moore. The singer skipped out on Vegas a day early to keep another, more important commitment.

"I'm flying home tomorrow, actually," he told Taste of Country in Vegas on Friday, where he was performing at a charity function. "I'm gonna miss the show because I promised my 3-year-old that if I could, I would come back and we would go to church and do that whole thing on Sunday. So I made a promise."

From the sound of it, the 'If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away' singer stays as busy with his girls as he does with his career. "My oldest is all about gymnastics right now, so that's fun," he reveals. "My youngest -- 16 months now -- I think she got every tooth in her head at the same exact time, and has been miserable for three weeks. But she's finally in a little better mood now."

Moore has been working on his third studio album; the first single from that as-yet-untitled release, 'Point at You,' was released in March.
